Willie Sterba's Music and Programs in Churches

Much of the music in my adult CD, Where Will I Get The Courage, is performed in churches. Several of these songs were written about my experience in South Africa. I have presented music and programs at Unity, UCC, and Methodist churches. I am happy to work with youth of different age levels to present music as a group, and I have songs they can easily follow with voice and instruments.

Please get in touch with me if you have any questions or would like to talk about fees, references, and scheduling.

The programs I offer are:

  • Music within the service, and can also show a short video of South Africa.
  • Speaking about my experience as a missionary in South Africa along with video.
  • A concert after the service.
  • A concert for children.

In 2003, Diane, Katrina, and I spent six months in South Africa as volunteer missionaries with Global Ministries. Find out about our story in these five letters that were originally posted on a web site for that trip.

Three songs on Where Will I Get The Courage CD were from this trip. I wrote "Shine Where You Are" and "Walking in South Africa" and track #13, "Mangisondele," is the Inanda girls singing this traditional Zulu song. We made a recording of their singing and they sell it to help raise funds for the school.
